Andrew's Feline Fix Saves a Life Long Street Cat

3/1/2016

Our Feline Fix Program assists many colony caretakers who are the unsung heroes and boots on the ground helping feral and free roaming cats. One caretaker brought us an older cat named Earl and mentioned he only sees him eat canned food. We found that he was already neutered but badly matted and only had two teeth. We didn't want to send Earl back outside shaved or matted. We were lucky to have the caring staff at Cat Welfare agree to take him. We took care of his mats and he will have his two remaining rotted teeth removed. This is a team effort starting with The Andrew Stern Family to the cat caretaker to our staff and finally Cat Welfare for the assist. You could be the last piece to this story. Please visit Cat Welfare.org if you would like to give this 9 ish yr old street cat the love and stability he has never known. Thank you to this caretaker who routinely helps cats in her neighborhood.
