Animal Grantmakers

Animal Welfare Trust    Devoted to promoting the well being of the animal community. Offers grants to organizations whose work helps reduce animal suffering and/or raises public consciousness toward related issues.  Although general organizational funding will be considered, preference will be given to well-defined projects with clear goals and objectives. Capital projects will not be considered. Areas of priority include farm animal welfare, vegetarianism and humane education. Local animal rescue/shelter and spay/neuter programs, as critical as they are to the animal welfare cause, is an area that we believe we just don't have the resources to address. Likewise, wildlife management and conservation projects are not within our funding parameters.

ASPCA  grants provide support to a variety of U.S.-based non-profit animal welfare organizations through cash awards, sponsorships, executive and technical assistance, and training. While we do not place a ceiling on grant amounts, most grants range between $500 and $10,000. Please bear this in mind when submitting your request.
