What is Mingle With Our Mutts?

Mingle with our Mutts is a great opportunity to meet with dog and cat organizations in your area of Ohio. Thousands of pure/mixed breed dogs, pups, cats & kittens are available every day in every county in Ohio.

Talk to experienced shelter staff and knowledgeable rescue people who can help match your family and lifestyle with the best breed, age and temperament of a dog or pup.

Before you go to a pet store or breeder, please consider helping us save the life of a pure or mixed breed dog/puppy or cat/kitten by adopting from a rescue or shelter.

Help us get the dogs and cats adopted.  Share this page or the image above to your FB post.

If you are looking to adopt a dog
Mingle is a great place to adopt a pooch.   It is best to attend without your dog as Mingle is very busy, noisy and energetic.  Because most rescue groups will complete a home visit, your resident dog will get a chance to meet the dog you are considering adopting before finalizing the adoption.

Who Can Participate ?

All rescues and shelters (dogs & cats) are invited to have a table at our monthly Mingle with our Mutts Adoption events.  Mingle with our Mutts is held the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month, 12-2pm.  We promote this event each month through tv, radio and print advertisements. We ask everyone to help promote Mingle on your site/social media.

Guidelines

  • All dogs, puppies, cats, kittens at the events must be spayed/neutered
  • If your group has a table at Mingle, we expect you to have at least one dog or cat with you and available for adoption
  • No items should be sold
  • It is up to each group's discretion regarding placement policies.  Many groups have a home visit policy and vet reference check and Mingle is a place where they can be seen and generate interest but not release a dog or puppy
  • Please keep all dogs on a short leash to avoid entanglements

Group Set Up Information
Yo
u will need to provide:
  • tent
  • table
  • water
  • banner with your group name on it
  • Mingle is held inside during harsh weather conditions/temperatures.
