Betty from Madison County touched on the positive/negatives of the prison dog program.  We tabled discussion for further detail if there is more interest. The group discussed different adoption processes and ways that potential Do Not Adopt (DNA’s) could be shared amongst groups. Adoption kits for events were also shared along with banner ideas, business cards, and cards in general to advocate your specific rescue, organization, or to send a personalized thank you. Once again we had fun commiserating, celebrating and brainstorming.

Great first meeting.  Discussion was all over the board, which is the exact purpose of this group.  A lot of laughing also took place.  Everyone swapped ideas, came up with ideas for future meetings and shared secrets !  Original idea was to meet every 2 months, but consensus was that meeting every month was favored.  We decided to try out the Panera Bread location for our next meeting as the Whole Foods location wasn't comfy enough for us.
